Information

It will tell us of the dramatic situation opened by war, in the separation played out in Histoire du soldat and in the grief at injustice expressed by La Bayadère. The transition we need asks us to come out of ourselves: first upwards, as Giuseppe Verdi’s setting of the Lord’s Prayer recalls, and then towards the other, with the compassion of Giselle. Peace is then offered in the exercise of Reconciliation, told over the nocturne of Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata, and in the determination, even in the shipwreck of The Ninth Wave, not to stop dreaming of brotherhood. The musicians of Teatro Comunale di Bologna, the Cappella Musicale di San Petronio, the Sasha & Repele company, CCN/Aterballetto, Maia Makhateli, Sergio Bernal and Jacopo Tissi, together with the Basilica of San Petronio, are the protagonists of this event. The event offers both seated and standing places. The ticket does not distinguish between the two, so seats are assigned in order of arrival while they last; we therefore invite you to arrive early.
